  • My name is Harold Stewart, and I am a passionate and dedicated track and field coach with over a decade of experience helping athletes unlock their full potential. As a USATF Level Two-certified coach specializing in sprinting, biomechanics, and speed development, I focus on developing not only athletic performance but also life skills such as perseverance, commitment, and overcoming adversity. I believe track and field is a powerful microcosm for life, and my goal is to inspire athletes to excel both on and off the track.

My coaching philosophy is rooted in science and precision, drawing from my academic background in physics and engineering. I hold degrees in Physics, Electrical Engineering, and Telecommunications Engineering Management, which have equipped me with a unique ability to analyze performance, solve problems, and design innovative training programs tailored to each athlete’s needs. Currently, I am pursuing a certification in strength and conditioning to further enhance my expertise and provide my athletes with a comprehensive foundation for success.

Throughout my career, I have coached elite athletes. I am also a cofounder and board member of The Texas Collective Track & Field Club, a USATF-sanctioned 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a positive, honest, and supportive environment for athlete development.

In addition to coaching, I am a USATF Certified Official, serving at events like the 2024 USATF Junior Olympics, and an active member of officiating crews for Texas A&M and Baylor University.

Beyond coaching, I am an entrepreneur and founder of W=FXD, an online sporting apparel brand that celebrates the values of hard work, resilience, and determination. Inspired by the physics equation for work (W = F x D), the brand reflects my belief that aligning the mind and heart leads to success, whether in sports or life.

Every day, I strive to inspire athletes to push past their limits, achieve their goals, and become the best versions of themselves—on and off the track.

“Having run track in high school and having offers to run in college, but unfortunately having a career-ending injury, I hold this sport near and dear to my heart. I love track and field and my goal as a coach is to foster the dreams of kids that I once had. I want to give them the opportunities that I lost and coach them to success.” - Coach Gerding

  • Hello! I’m Jaden Gerding, a runner, coach, and track and field enthusiast. I’m a coach who does a lot of analysis of the science and data that comes out each and every year. I hold scientific integrity to be the highest standard of coaching.

That being said, I also like to experiment with athletes and find what works for each athlete individually. I’m no stranger to the idea that science does not always tell the whole story and use it as a way to structure my general training and tweek it to fit each individual athlete’s needs.

I ran track and field in high school for Cypress Ranch and had offers to run in college. Unfortunately my career was cut short by an awful knee injury. Even though I couldn’t run I still wanted to be involved in the sport and I started coaching athletes that would let me!

Then I met Harold, a mentor and guide for all the knowledge I have obtained today! I figured out that this is what I want to do with my life the day I met him.

I now work at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine as a Physical Therapy Technician and work with Physical Therapists daily. I am also pursuing a bachelors in Business Administration and a minor in Exercise Science!
